As an instructor and research advisor, I have an approach to pedagogy that engages students through community-based learning projects, curiosity-centered pedagogy, and collective knowledge sharing. I am passionate about becoming a better instructor and participating in courses offered by our Teaching and Learning Center, such as the Community-Based Learning incubator, transparency in teaching and learning, and supporting graduate and undergraduate student research courses. I am also dedicated to bringing the insights of diverse voices in music technology to my students and showing them a the depth and breadth of the field. I expose them to multimodal learning strategies to help them ingrain material faster and with less stress, support them through mentorship, and bridge the gap between humanities study and applied technology skills.
